During this period the main role of CIDETEC has been focused on the development of thermoset biocomposites to boost circular economy.
Within the ECOXY project, CIDETEC has expanded its patented 3R technology to bio-based epoxy resins and fibre reinforcements.
This has led to the production of new sustainable thermoset composites with advanced functionalities: repairable, reprocessable and reciclable, that can be used in sectors such as automotive or aerospace, amongst others.
